In the course of a day, as situations seem to go wrong or turn out far less than desired, if we do not master impatience and the carnal nature, bad attitudes takes us further and further from our Heavenly Father. Let's understand who we are in Christ and behave as real sons and daughters of the most high God.
As Paul recorded, by the inspiration of Holy Spirit, in:
Romans 8:37 ”... in all these things we have complete victory through Him (Jesus), who loved us”
We need to realize, that in all situations, there is victory in following Jesus. As we learn to handle problems as He would have us and by the direction of the Holy Spirit. We learn to recognize the lies and pitfalls the devil sets before us and as the trials of life occur, we can stay anchored in Jesus.
If we do not daily put and keep our trust in the Lord, our trials will be much harder and in proportion with the level of our faith that we actually practice. Our heavenly Father wants us to be victorious. He wants us to recognize the pitfalls of the enemy and to stay in victory by closely following Jesus and counting on Him. Jesus is the Truth and in Him and in His ways we are set free and can stay free.
John 14:6 “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. ”
John 8:32 ”you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
HOW does this become a life-changing reality?
The Lord is has shown us the way:
John 8:31 ”So Jesus said to those who believed in him, “If you obey my teaching, you are really my disciples”
As we become more and more free from the lies of the devil and slavery of sin, our Heavenly Father blesses us with more and more of His glory. It is the Lord who enables us to walk victoriously. His power is even shown through our weaknesses.
1 Corinthians 1:27 ”God purposely chose what the world considers nonsense in order to shame the wise, and he chose what the world considers weak in order to shame the powerful.”
Ephesians 6:10-11 ”Finally, build up your strength in union with the Lord and by means of his mighty power. Put on all the armor that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the Devil's evil tricks.”
We need to be willing and then actually work to build up our strength in the Lord and His mighty power. Activated faith and helps build greater activated faith and bringing proportional and greater results.
Romans 8:11 ”If the Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from death, lives in you, then He who raised Christ from death will also give life to your mortal bodies by the presence of his Spirit in you. ”
Let's trust the Lord and His Word and cast fear and doubt from our hearts and minds! Let's search our hearts and repent for any lack of faith in troublesome areas. Let's start to apply “trusting in the real Truth” - which is Jesus, so God can do greater works in and through us.
