The Bible is the infallible Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is the source of all truth and it contains the answers to all man's problems. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21)
The Trinity, there is one God, existing eternally in three Persons: God, the Father; God, the Son and God, the Holy Spirit. (John 10:30, John 14:26, Philippians 2:5-7)
Jesus, the Son of God and Savior. He came to earth, being born through a virgin, lived a sinless life, gave His life as the perfect sacrifice to forgive the past, present and future sins of mankind, He was resurrected after three days and was seen by many for 40 days. He then ascended to heaven where He sits at the right hand of God the Father, interceding for us. (John 1:1, Luke 1:26-38, Hebrews 4:14-15, Romans 8:34)
Mankind was created in the image of God, but became separated from God by sin. Jesus is the only Mediator between God and mankind. (Genesis 1:26, 1 Timothy 2:5)
Jesus is the only way to salvation. Only by repenting of our sins and in accepting Jesus' sacrifice can we receive forgiveness. Without Jesus we cannot have a relationship with God. Salvation is God's free gift to man. It is not a result of what we do, but it is only available because of God's unmerited favor. By believing that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died to pay for our sins, that He was resurrected and ascended to heaven, and in inviting Him to be the Lord of our lives, can we be saved. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 5:1, Romans 3:24, Romans 10:9-10)
Baptism by water, as taught and demonstrated by Jesus, is part of becoming a child of God. As we read in Romans chapter 6, through baptism, believers identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:4, Matthew 3:13-17)
Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God that helps empower believers to develop the character of Christ and live every day in God's will and in accomplishing His plan for our lives. (Matthew 3:11, Acts 2:4)
Spiritual gifts are for all believers, with the purpose to strengthen the body of Christ (all believers) and is proof of God's existence and power to unbelievers. The gifts of the Spirit never ceased and are still active and relevant today. (1 Corinthians 12:4-11, 1 Peter 4:10)
Communion, the Lord's Supper, honors the covenant in which the bread represents Jesus' body and the wine is His blood shed for us at the cross. The Lord Jesus requires this as a remembrance of His sacrifice for us on the cross and is an act of unity with Him and one another. (Luke 22:19-20, 1 Corinthians 10:16-17)
Sanctification is the ongoing process of allowing God's character to be developed in us. We are called to live holy lives for Jesus. (1 Peter 1:16, Romans 6:19, Galatians 5:22-25)
Healing is God's will. Jesus not only paid the price for our salvation, but also for our healing. By His stripes we were healed. Jesus is our Healer. Healing includes physical, mental, emotional and spiritual restoration. (Psalms 103:3, Isaiah 53:4-5, Luke 9:11, Matthew 9:35, Acts 10:38, Matthew 10:1, 1 Peter 2:24)
Jesus will return in the clouds and “call all believers up” from this earth in what is known as, the rapture, at which time, all believers, past and present will receive new incorruptible, glorified bodies. It will happen before the wrath of God that will be sent upon this earth and the evil ones. (Acts 1:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, Hebrews 9:28)
The Second Coming and Millennium, will be preceded by the battle at Armageddon. Jesus Christ will rule and reign as King on this earth for 1000 years, during what is called the Millennium. (Revelation 16:12-16,17:14,19:11-14,20:4-6)
The final judgment, a new heaven and a new earth. Following the final judgment of the lost, at the great, white throne of Judgment, there will be a new heaven and earth which, the Holy City, the New Jerusalem of heaven, will come down upon. The old earth and its heavens will be destroyed, and all evil will be cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 19:20,20:1-3,10,11-15,21:1-2, 2 Peter 3:7)
